What our rigging crews do
Advanced riggers, dogmen, crane operators and spotters
Hard Bakka Rigging supplies experienced rigging crews for structural steel erection, crane lifts and heavy installation work across Greater Sydney and Regional NSW. Our crews include advanced riggers, dogmen, crane operators and spotters, with a rigging supervisor on site for complex lifts.
- Structural steel erection: columns, rafters, purlins, girts, canopies and platform steelwork, bolted and tensioned to standards.
- Crane lifts and lift planning: lift studies, rigging plans and staged erection sequences, worked out before the crane arrives.
- Rigger hire: advanced riggers and dogmen for your site, project-based or ongoing.
- Machinery and plant installation: lifting, positioning and setting heavy equipment.

We run our own fleet, so the crane and the riggers on your site work together every day:
- 130T heavy lift crane
- 80T rough terrain crane
- 60T Zoomlion crawler crane (2026 model)
- 30T XCMG mobile crane
- 20T Franna pick-and-carry crane
Plus a 4T telehandler and 66ft boom lifts for materials handling and work at height.

Recent rigging and steel erection work includes:
- Sydney Metro – Western Sydney Airport ABP Station: approx. 168 tonnes of structural steel and 4,378 lm of purlins and girts.
- Western Sydney Airport OCC Building: 166.8 tonnes of structural steel and 5,405 lm of purlins and girts.
Every job runs on ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 compliant systems, with SWMS for every task, ITPs and hold points, and connections tensioned to standards.

What rigging services does Hard Bakka Rigging offer?
Structural steel erection, crane lifts with our own cranes, rigger hire, rigging supervision and machinery installation, across Greater Sydney and Regional NSW.
Do you supply the crane and the riggers together?
Yes. We run our own cranes, from a 20T Franna up to a 130T heavy lift crane, with our own crews.
Can you plan the lift for us?
Yes. We complete lift studies and rigging plans before erection begins, and work through the sequencing with your site team.
